Day 1: In-Conference Tours

Regular: $150 + tax
This ticket provides registration to attend one (1) In-Conference Tour as part of the 2026 CIF-IFC National Conference and 118th Annual General Meeting. Lunch will be provided.
Please note that Tours have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise specified and are scheduled simultaneously; as a result, participants will be able to attend only one tour. *Times subject to change.
After general registration, delegates will be contacted via email regarding tour selection.
Note: All Conference tours are subject to change without prior notice. The organizers reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any tour, due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to low enrollment, speaker availability, safety considerations, or logistical requirements. Registered participants will be notified of significant updates when possible. By completing registration, attendees acknowledge and accept that program elements may change and agree to these terms.
Please be aware that all tours may involve walking on uneven, rocky, or natural terrain. Depending on the tour, participants may also be required to complete a hike or walk of varying distance and difficulty to reach certain locations or attractions. Guests should wear appropriate footwear and clothing suitable for outdoor conditions and be prepared for changes in terrain, elevation, and weather. Certain tours may require personal protective equipment (PPE). Please see individual tours for accessibility and PPE details, and consider your personal fitness level and mobility needs when selecting a tour. Day 2: 2026 CIF-IFC National Awards Ceremony & Banquet

Time: 6:30pm – 10:00pm
Regular: $50 + tax
This ticket provides registration to attend the National Awards Ceremony & Banquet as part of the 2026 CIF-IFC National Conference and 118th Annual General Meeting, as well as a plated dinner.
The 2026 CIF-IFC National Awards Ceremony & Banquet will take place at the Edmonton Convention Centre, and will feature a presentation from Forest without Borders.
Day 3: Evening Social Closing Party
Date: Tuesday, September 29, 2026
Time: 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Location: Muttart Conservatory, Edmonton, Alberta
Admission: $25 + tax
Celebrate the conclusion of the 2026 CIF Conference with an unforgettable evening at Edmonton’s iconic Muttart Conservatory.
Join fellow delegates for a relaxed night of networking, great conversations, delicious food, and refreshments while exploring one of Canada’s most recognizable botanical attractions. Enjoy listening to the band “Something to Sing About”, with their musical stylings showcasing Canadian songs. Wander through the Conservatory’s stunning glass pyramids, each showcasing a unique climate and collection of plants from around the world—the perfect setting to reflect on the conference and connect with colleagues old and new.
Wrap up the conference in one of Edmonton’s most beautiful venues and celebrate another successful CIF gathering with forestry professionals from across Canada.
This ticket provides registration to attend the evening social event taking place at Muttart Conservatory. Light refreshments will be provided.
Speakers & Moderators
Speakers and moderators will receive complimentary registration for the day of their participation and will be eligible for a discounted rate for the remaining days of the conference.

Cancellations made more than six weeks before the event start date (before August 16, 2026) will receive a 100% refund.
Cancellations made between six weeks and two weeks before the event start date (between August 16 and September 13, 2026) will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made within two weeks of the event start date (on or after September 13, 2026) are non-refundable.
All conference details, including but not limited to dates, times, locations, schedules, speakers, workshops, sessions, and tour offerings, are subject to change without prior notice.
